10 July, In a packed hall of the annual London event, Marxism 2004, Ibrahim Allawi, editor in chief of the Baghdad based democratic left newspaper, Al-Ghad, and Sabah Jawad, secretary of IDAO, spoke on latest developments in Iraq, followed by lively discussions from the floor. Read on ...

12 May, House Of Commons Public meeting achieves common stand against the occupation of Iraq

28 January, After Hutton — End the War Lies! More than 60 representaitives of leading UK peace, democratic and anti-war organisations and individuals attended this meeting, organised by the CND, hosted by Alice Mahon MP. Most of the discussions centred on the Hutton report's whitewashing of the government on the issue of war on Iraq, the threat to democracy and the independence of the BBC, and the relationship between the Iraqi people’s struggle for democracy and the world's democratic movement.
